CIPN encourages members to stay attuned to injury prevention fundamentals and techniques by getting trained in one of many health and safety certificate programs. Certificate programs provide busy professionals a way to expand their knowledge and gain experience in different areas of injury prevention and related topics.

- American Red Cross: Preparing and Getting Trained
The American Red Cross offers a variety of trainings including CPR, first aid, caregiving, and lifeguarding. - CAL Fire Academy
The Academy provides training in fire protection, fire prevention, law enforcement, administration, resource management, and fire crew management. - California Child Care Licensing Website
