Effective grant writing is an integral part of public health programs, services, and efforts. Grant funding can be used to start, expand, or continue a variety of child safety efforts and cannot be overlooked for its critical role in program viability. On the surface, grant writing may seem somewhat intimidating, but it is a skill that can be learned. Planning, preparation, and practice contribute to good, fundable proposals.
