The California Injury Prevention Network (CIPN) cares about keeping children of all ages safe. CIPN is comprised of professionals from many fields working together to enhance childhood injury prevention efforts across California. From wearing bike helmets to prevent head injury to putting up pool fences to prevent drowning, CIPN addresses childhood injury prevention using a public health approach. CIPN focuses on reducing injury risk factors and promoting safety behaviors. CIPN also helps raise awareness of injury as a major public health priority with a commensurate level of programmatic funding and support. CIPN is sponsored by the California Kids’ Plates Program, a statewide initiative addressing unintentional injury prevention programs and efforts for children under the age of eighteen.
CALIFORNIA KIDS' PLATES PROGRAM ACTIVITIES ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD; HOWEVER, MATERIALS AND RESOURCES AVAILABLE ON THE CIPN WEBSITE WILL CONTINUE TO BE ACCESSIBLE FOR YOUR PROFESSIONAL USE.
